How to Apply — MLIS+ Fellowship

Interested SJSU iSchool MLIS students must submit the following to be considered for this program:

• CV or Resume: A current and complete CV that includes your permanent address, earned educational degrees and relevant professional experience;
• Letter: 1,000 words describing your enthusiasm for librarianship, relevant academic and professional experience, why you are a strong candidate for the fellowship, and your future career goals. Also, include the name of the worksite you are interested in applying for;
• INFO 200: Evidence of successful completion of (or date when you expect to complete) INFO 200;
• Recommendation Letters: Two letters of recommendation from faculty and/or professionals who have knowledge of your academic or professional abilities;
• Transcripts: Transcripts should show all earned degrees, with GPA indicated. Official transcripts are not needed at this stage. Do not send transcripts for courses taken if no degree was earned.
• Declaration that you are a resident of California.
• Zip file naming protocol: YourName_Name of FellowshipPlacement.zip
